01 / Understand performance

See what deserves a closer look.

Start with the measurements, the reporting week and how many drivers it covers. Open a change to find the drivers and the evidence behind it, graded by your own rubric.

Illustrative interface · fictional dataAn illustrative Driver Performance view with fictional data: four weekly measurements, a six-week trend of safety events, the events behind the change, and a short list of drivers with a reason for review and a next step.

Step 1 of 4

Use it in a phone browser or install it on a supported device. Company sign-in and workspace setup are required.

Illustrative app interface · not a live conversationAn illustrative driver app screen. The driver writes: "I need help finding the right instructions for this task." The reply reads: "I can help you find your company's approved guidance. Which part are you working on?" Below it, options to find the relevant steps or ask the team for help.

A conversation, with context

“Can someone help me with this?” deserves a next step.

Drivers can ask follow-up questions, find the relevant approved guidance, or reach a person when the issue needs judgment. Managers can see the request and where it stands.

Illustrative conversation

An answer path, and a person behind it.

The driver asks in their own words. The assistant looks for the answer in guidance your managers approved, asks a short clarifying question if it needs one, and hands the request to your team — with the context — when the guidance doesn't cover it.

Approved guidance → clarification → a person when needed

Sample dialogue · no live AI request or employee messageAn illustrative driver app screen. The driver writes: "I'm not sure which procedure applies here." The reply reads: "Let's find your company's approved guidance. Which part of the task needs clarifying?" Below it, options to find the relevant steps or ask the team for help.
Illustrative conversation

Make room for understanding.

Coaching starts from the observation and your own coaching text, which managers edit. The driver can mark it understood, say they disagree, or ask a question — and “understood” is recorded as understood, never as agreement.

Performance context → coaching review → the driver's response

Sample dialogue · no live AI request or employee messageAn illustrative driver app screen. The driver writes: "Can you show me which part I should work on?" The reply reads: "Here is last week's result and the steps your team uses. Is there anything about the route your manager should know?" Below it, options to find the relevant steps or ask the team for help.
Illustrative conversation

Notice a specific contribution.

Recognize a documented improvement or a helpful action. A manager chooses the reason and reviews the words before anything is sent.

A reason → a manager's review → sent to the driver

Sample dialogue · no live AI request or employee messageAn illustrative driver app screen. The driver writes: "Thanks for checking back with me after the shift." The reply reads: "You helped a new teammate find the right procedure and made the handoff easier. Thank you for taking the time." Below it, options to find the relevant steps or ask the team for help.

For the person behind the metric

Build understanding. Keep the conversation open.

01

Coaching with a reason.

Connect the measurement and its evidence to coaching text your team reviews and edits — and leave room for the driver to explain what happened.

02

Recognition with substance.

Notice a specific improvement or a helpful contribution, and make recognition part of regular management rather than a once-a-year event.

Read the recognition guide

03

Feedback that gets a response.

Short check-ins gather feedback — results appear only once at least five drivers have answered — and “You said / We did” shows what management did about it.

Know what still needs a person.

A reply is a start. Resolution takes follow-through.

The support report shows unassigned and overdue requests, time to the first reply and to the first human response (kept apart), whether drivers found an answer helpful, and which requests a driver confirmed resolved or reopened. Repeated questions show where your approved guidance needs another entry.

Interaction records show activity. They do not prove understanding, agreement or a change in performance.

Illustrative layout · fictional dataAn illustrative support overview: seven open requests, two needing an owner, one overdue, and three example requests with their status — needs an owner, assigned, and resolved by the driver.

Questions, answered

Designed for real working relationships.

Is this just a messaging app?

No. Driver Connect brings together conversations, coaching, answers from approved guidance, support ownership, recognition, check-ins and feedback. The rest of FleetVerity supplies the performance and operational context.

Can drivers ask follow-up questions?

Yes. The assistant reads the conversation so far and answers only from company guidance your managers have approved. When the guidance is missing, or the question needs judgment, the request goes to a person on your team. The assistant needs approved guidance to work from: with none on file, every question goes to a person.

Do managers control the coaching content?

Yes. Coaching messages start from FleetVerity's default text, which your team edits, plus coaching tips your team writes. Knowledge entries go from draft to approved by a manager before the assistant may use them.

Is the app in the App Store or Google Play?

No. Drivers use Driver Connect in a phone browser, and can install it to the home screen on supported devices. We confirm devices and notification setup with you during onboarding.

Which languages does it support?

The driver app is available in English and Spanish. A Spanish answer is given only from guidance your team has reviewed in Spanish — English guidance is never machine-translated into company policy.

Does it make employment decisions?

No. Performance information and conversation records support review by authorized people. Nothing in Driver Connect decides discipline or employment.
